HSCI sends a huge THANK YOU to John Carter and Jack Lewis Jewelers for hosting a fun, informative Kentucky Derby event! The event allowed us to share what we do for horse rescue with members of the Central Illinois horse community. Because the horses we rescue and foster are not at the shelter, many people don't realize that horses are also part of our mission.
