On Saturday, May 17, HSCI held the "4th Annual Dinner and Auction" event at the Doubletree Hotel in Bloomington. The event helps raise awareness as we celebrate our cause and support our mission to find loving, forever homes for abused and unwanted pets. The evening began with cocktails, appetizers, and silent auction. The dinner and a live auction then followed. A big Thank You goes to everyone who attended the event and helped support the pets!
Sherri Jeakins and Kathy Schniedwind arrive early to enjoy the evening after months of planning. Big thanks to our planning committee: Marta Eynatten, Kathy Schniedwind, Sherri Jeakins, Gina Bianchi and Luann Anderson.

Emcee Larry meets Moby, one of our special needs dogs. Moby was extremely obese when he came to HSCI and couldn't walk without support. He had to lose over 30 pounds before he could have needed knee surgery on both back legs. At the Pet Adoption Center for months during this process, it was announced at the auction that he had been adopted by Jenn, our Animal Care Manager - shown here with him!
