On Monday, August 10, 2015, a reception was held at HSCI to unveil the new Leadership Gifts wall. A Leadership Gift is a commitment to donate at least $5,000 to HSCI over a 3 year period. These commitments allow us to better plan and budget.
This beautiful wall was developed with the assistance of shelter manager Samantha and board member Sherill Reichter, and built by our multi-talented animal care worker Jeff. Board member Kathy Schniedwind and former board member Andy Schuster were also instrumental in the project. This teamwork and dedication is greatly appreciated!
After introductions by Kathy Schniedwind, Leadership Gift donors in attendance placed their recognition plaques on the wall and shared their story about their support of HSCI. The plaques were designed and produced by Tricia Shaw, B & B Awards and Recognition. She and her husband Robert were also guests. Thank you, Tricia, for creating such beautiful displays!
HSCI staff was on hand to answer questions and give tours of the shelter. Stacey, Jane, Zach, Chloe, and Andrea took guests into all areas of the shelter, including the intake rooms and surgery area which are typically off-limits to non-staff.
Our inaugural Leadership Gift donors are:
We greatly appreciate the support of all of our donors – whether they give $5 or $5,000. Each dollar plays a part in helping HSCI find forever homes for the unwanted and abused pets in central Illinois. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for choosing to support us!
