We are so glad and thankful to have Huge at home with us! The first night home he walked around like he had been there for years. We have 6 other cats, and they all get along great! Huge has a wonderful laid back attitude, and really does not care about anything-except getting groomed! He loves to be groomed and pampered! Never before in my life have I ever come across a cat that lifts up his back legs so that I can brush every nook and cranny-at least 5 times.
Out of the four girl cats we have there is one in particular that seems to follow him all the time...you can see her behind him in one of the pictures-her name is Lola-and she follows Huge all the time-it seems he has a girlfriend, if I remember right it did say on his rap sheet that he was somewhat of a Casanova! He just has that look about him. Huge loves to be with us when we sleep, so he climbs up on our bed and will lay right between my husband and me, and sleeps like a baby all night. He really is at home and we love having him!

Huge had been adopted prior to this home with another HSCI cat, Tally. Sadly, one of the dogs in the household wanted to play with the cats a bit too much. Their owners gave everybody a period to adjust but it didn't work out in the end. Although their dog didn't have bad intentions, Huge and Tally were living in fear. Their cat guardians, despite their heartbreak, brought them back to HSCI.
Not all adoptions can work out even with the best of owners. Huge and Tally's second home made a hard decision, but one with the cats' best interest in mind. As illustrated above, Huge's third home is very thankful and Huge is too!
PS: Our staff was quite happy to hear that Huge likes to be groomed now.
