Prevention of Animal Cruelty Month

In recognition of April as Prevention of Animal Cruelty Month, the ASPCA works with shelters and educators across the country to raise awareness about animal abuse.

Did you know that you as an individual can help crack down on cruelty in your community, too? When a concerned citizen reports the abuse of an animal to the proper authorities, he or she is not only helping that particular animal, but a message is being sent that all acts of animal abuse should be taken seriously.
