Clear The Shelters

Clear the Shelters Adoption Event

GreaterGood.org is joining NBC and Telemundo owned stations’ Clear The Shelters pet adoption campaign to support shelters and rescues across the country by encouraging individuals to donate funds to help animal welfare groups with the most critical needs.

During the summer, shelters and rescues face an added stress on their resources from increases in puppy and kitten intakes due to spring litters. Animal welfare groups, rescues and shelters are pros at stretching their dollars to help the pets in their care.

This summer, shelters are facing a new challenge. The coronavirus pandemic is putting an extra strain on already stretched resources. In order to support shelters everywhere feeling this strain, we're asking for your help. Every bit counts.

To make a donation, visit the GreaterGood.org website and search for the "Humane Society of Central Illinois".

The Humane Society of Central Illinois is participating in the Clear the Shelters Adoption Event on Saturday, August 29 to help find loving homes for animals in need. Adoptions are by appointment only from 11:00 am - 4:00 pm. Visit the Adoption Information webpage for current adoption process.
